Even though Toni studied classical music and clarinette at the academy of music in Zurich, Switzerland, his true musical affair has always been with folk music, in his case the Jewish Klezmer music, and the Jazz.
He teaches, as well as performs in various ensembles, i.e. the New Zurich Wind Quintet, the philharmonic orchestra, and several Klezmer projects. When he was asked to join Iliria Nueva, he did not hesitate. Toni brings his soulful and virtuoso solos, and his light-hearted, as well as profound approach to music to the ensemble.
